I could always see a bit of myself in my loved ones. That was what made of so close to each other. It was through them that I realized myself. And it is through them that I can remain who I am. Even when they passed away I can find them in me; and find myself more and more…They are my mirrors.

I was born in 1983 in Tehran, I studied as a medical doctor but gave it up for the love of art.
I had several exhibitions in my own country; and I will attend in the upcoming florence biennial 2009.

These works are from two different series: "this is not a woman" and "me-ror".
