My "Albino Beach series", this was a collaboration between myself and a cluster of shells which have sat in a large clear vase, in my home.

Over the years they, continue to occupy a special place in my life. I have often thought of my attachment and comfort derived from these innocuous little shells. To that end, I was inspired to create this series.

It is the purity and serenity which is the focus of interest. The photos in the series are intended to evoke a sense of calm and tranquility by stripping each of its color, and reducing it to its simplest form. There are no distractions, just the stark clear imagery which is meant to counteract the color, noise and commentary which fill our daily lives. There is something comforting in imagery which acts as a panacea for all which distracts.
