o . Lauren Coulson - Contemporary Artist

Lauren Coulson was born in 1985 and currently lives in Memphis, Tennessee. Her mother received a BFA and currently is an art teacher, and her father has a MFA in drawing and painting from the University of Georgia. Having an influence in art while growing up, her interest and skills developed early on. After High School she went to the University of Memphis and graduated with a BFA in Photography in the spring of 2009. One of her paintings has been accepted in the Gallery 10 Collection for WKNO in the fall of 2008. Her work has been shown in many local Memphis galleries and has recently been in a group exhibition at the Limner Gallery in Hudson, NY.
